Trisha In "Abhiyum Naanum"

Abhiyum Naanum, a film all about a father-daughter relationship, has been in and out of financial troubles ever since it started rolling. With the film's shooting finally over and is slated for an October release, director Radha Mohan seems to heave a sigh of relief. Abhiyum Naanum was initially slated for an August 15th release but had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. What Mozhi did to Jyothika, Abhiyum Naanum is bound to do to Trisha, says inside sources. But critics feel that Abhiyum Naanum's lagging release date could also be detrimental to Trisha's career. Trisha Next "Lagori"

Trisha has stoutly denied reports that appeared in a few sections of the media that she would be entering the Kannada film industry with a film titled 'Lagori'.

'I am not acting in any Kannada film, as I am busy with offers in Tamil and Telugu,' she said, when asked about the reports.
Earlier, a section of the media claimed that Trisha will act in the Kannada film 'Lagori', which will be directed by Yograj Bhat, who directed two box-office hits, 'Mungaru Male' and 'Gaalipata'.

The reports had said, 'Actor Puneeth Rajkumar will be the male lead. Trisha has accepted this role because she liked the script which gives her ample scope to conquer Karnataka. Shooting of the film will take place in New Zealand.'
