Vijay Releases "Muniyandi" Audio

Innovative audio launch functions seem to be the order of the day in Tamil Cinema. Bharath starrer ‘Muniyandi Vilangiyal Moonramaandu’ had its audio launch near Chennai on Monday.

Director Thirumurugan, music composer Vidyasagar and lyricist Vairamuthu hogged the limelight talking about the intricacies that went into making the songs.

Actor Vijay released the first copy of the audio and expressed his hope that the movie would go on to become a hit.

Vairamuthu made many valid points on contemporary Tamil film music. He said, 'the kuthu songs have overshadowed melodious songs and the hard work of lyricists is lost with heavy music'.

He also urged music-lovers to give due recognition to the lyricists. Vidyasagar expressed his hope that the album would top the charts.

Producer Dathao Duraisinghavelu, actor Prabhu and Thirumurugan also spoke on the occasion.
Jointly produced by Ayngaran, the audio launch witnessed the presence of actor Bharath, actress Poorna and Karuna of Ayngaran among others.
