Sarvam Shooting Kills Two Persons

Two persons were killed and one was injured during the shooting of the film Sarvam in Chennai Monday.

According to reports, the shooting of the Arya-Trisha-starrer movie, directed by Vishnuvardhan, was on in a 11-storeyed building which was under construction near Gemini Flyover in Chennai.


As the shooting was planned on the top floor, a temporary lift was installed to take the equipment. When production assistants and camera crew were busy taking machines through the lift this morning, it collapsed and fell down.


Udayakumar (24) sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot. Two others named Appanraj and Sikamani were admitted to hospital, where Sikamani succumbed to serious injuries, Teynampet police are investigating.


Meanwhile, a sound engineer was hurt during the shoot of a film Anthony near Tiruchendur. Reports said that the fingers of the victim


Karunankaran were cut when an equipment called skimmer fell down while picturising a comedy scene involving Vivekh.
