Meera Jasmine escaped unhurt after protestors of the Amarnath Temple land row in Kashmir started hurling stones on her car. The actress was in Kashmir, to shoot a song sequence for a Telugu film Bangaru Babu, when the incident occurred. Meera was on her way to the shooting spot when some mobsters, protesting over the Amarnath Temple land, started hurling stones on all the vehicles passing that way.
The actress, who was shaken by the incident, was relieved when the army intervened to bring the situation under control. Owing to the tense situation prevailing in that region the shooting was canceled and the crew returned to Hyderabad.
